Anna Emelia “Minnie” Kirchein

1/22/1878 – 4/1/1936

Jean Weiss remembers Anna Emelia (Nanny) Brown as a very kind and loving person. Nanny used to make doll clothes for her grandchildren’s teddy bears & stuffed dolls.

Anna Emelia was very sick as a child. Anna had suffered rheumatic fever from which she then acquired a rheumatic heart. Jean Weiss says this made her frail. Anna died in her fifties of that condition in the 270 Garden Ave., Mount Vernon residence.
